Delfina Tommasini is one of the oldest surviving people to have been trained by Maria Montessori herself: a student of Montessori's 1950 course in Perugia, Italy, Tommasini has remained active as a Montessori teacher throughout her working life, and she continues to be dedicated to Montessori's principles on education.

André Roberfroid has worked in the area of child rights for most of his life, having worked for UNICEF for more than 30 years, work which then led him to connect with AMI and the global Montessori community.

Vidya Shankar is the founder of CASCADE Montessori Rural Research Centre in India. They have centers in the rural villages Narasingapuram and Jamunamarathur.
